Fraud Investigation

We provide independent expert forensic reports relating to several types of vehicle fraud:

Staged Accidents

The vehicles are driven into one another enabling one or both parties to make a fraudulent claim. Our extensive experience enables us to inspect both vehicles and compare the accident damage to the reported accident circumstances. The engineer will check key criteria to establish if the accident damage is genuine or if a fraudulent claim has been made.

Ghost Accidents

The damage that has been reported either doesn’t exist or was not created in the manner reported on the accident report/claims form.

The engineer will check key criteria to establish if the accident damage is genuine or a fraudulent claim has been made.

Embellished Accidents

The damage on the vehicle is consistent with the accident circumstances although the damage has been embellished leading to claims for personal injuries or unnecessary replacement car hire costs.

The engineer will check key criteria to establish if the accident damage is genuine or if a fraudulent claim has been made.

We are experienced in inspecting vehicles to identify the concealed indicators of fraud.  The reports comply with section 35a CPR and our engineers are all experienced in presenting there evidence in court room situations.

These reports take 7 days to compile after the inspection, subject to all the information being available. These reports can be sent by all media including E-mail, fax and / or post.

Our experience shows that in fraudulent cases it can occasionally take longer than usual to track vehicles that owners are obstructive about having inspected.

At all times our principals are updated as to the progress of cases.
